Varsity Coach needed
We are looking for a Varsity Coach for our Boys/Bx Fall and Mixed Winter Seasons, with a possible opportunity to work with our Girls/Gx team as well. A good candidate for this coaching position will have experience coaching at the high school varsity level or older. This candidate should also have availability most afternoons and/or evenings during the week. Our Fall Schedule is almost exclusively Mon-Thurs, and can start as early as 4pm and some practices/games can go as late as 9pm. The Fall Season will run August 21st through the first week in November. The Winter Season will be will be several days a week practice at 4/4:30 with one game on the weekend. Coaches are supported by having a team admin, a scheduler, and a strong Ultimate community. This is a paid position.

Every adult that works with players will have an on-boarding series that they go through with DiscNW, with virtual trainings, pass a background check, signed waivers, and proof of COVID Immunization.
Every adult will speak, coach, and instruct in a way that reflects our values of upholding and protecting gender equality, gender nonconformity, sexual orientation, race, religion and economic situation.
Paid High School Varsity Coach (Bx Varsity and Mx Varsity)
A Head/Varsity Coach for Westside will have:
- Youth Ultimate Coaching Experience
- Consistent transportation options
- Availability from 4-9pm on weekdays and some weekend days
- There will be a schedule prepared in advance.
- Advanced notice of planned absences are expected.
And will be able to
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to complete all the DiscNW trainings required
- Be 21 years old or older
A Westside Head Coach will be expected to provide leadership for players and coaches alike.
